Championship Results - Winter 2026

Tier 8

Honor Them upends the Previous champs (Buzzer Beaters) 2-1 to win the Tier 8 Cup.  Jason Passafiume had both goals and won MVP honors.  Nick Camasso played well in net also, stopping 20 of 21 shots.  For the Buzzer Beaters, Mike Rodriguez had the only goal.

 

Tier 7

In the game of the session, Spare Parts score late in the third to win the Tier 7 championship over Honor Them.  Dave Acquino had the only goal and shares the MVP honors with Robbie Cannon 31/31 and the shut out. Joe Lawrence and Chris Mello assisted on the SP goal.

 

Tier 6

Tap and Barrel defeat the former champ Patriots 7-6 in a shoot out to win the highly competitive Tier 6 Championship.  John " it pops back in " Probst and Mike Fusciello led the way with a hat trick each.  MVP goes to Mark Capristo who pops a shoulder back like no one else I've ever seen.  For the patriots , Sean Howley led the team with 4 points and Corey Rask and Rob Lynn each had 3 points.  



Tier 6-Northford

The Flamingos secured a 7–4 win over Outburst in the Tier 6 championship game. Outburst came out strong and set the early tone with a goal from Matt Depalma, but the Flamingos responded and officially took control by the third period. Outburst kept the pressure on throughout, but it was no match for the Flamingos & their MVP, Chris Hoyecki, who scored 2 goals.

 

 

Tier 5

The Mighty Shrimps defeat the Kraken 3-2 in OVERTIME to win the Tier 5 Championship. MVP Andrew Nascimento, Tyler Stoner and Ryan Guadet all scored in the win.   For the Kraken, James Walsh and hard charging Mike Kelly scored.   

 

Tier 4

Ryan Oil Company beat Freeze 5–1 in the Tier 4 Championship. Ryan Oil controlled the game from start to finish and never let up. Despite multiple opportunities, Freeze was repeatedly turned away by a stellar goaltending effort from MVP, Chris Saroka, who made an impressive 46 saves. Also, with the help of Randy Samperi, who led the way for Ryan Oil with 2 goals.

 

Tier 3

The Loose Cannons finish the undefeated season and go 14-0, winning the Tier 3 championship 4-2 over the Boneheads.  Kurt Rhodes gets MVP honors as Jake Beaulieu, Frank Rozio, Luc Bonvouloir, and Craig Watts all scored.   For the Boneheads, Nate Duquette and Cullen Roberts had goals.

 

Tier 2

No Regretzkys continues their dominance with a Shoot Out win over the Mooseheads 4-3.   Tim Walsh, Zach McGrail and Jake Beaulieu (late goal to tie the game) all scored for NR.  For the Mooseheads, they took an early lead and lead late with goals by Kevin Harnett, Jonathan Intravaia, and William Elliot.   In the Shoot- Out, John Leonard buried the game winner.   MVP honors go to John for the shoot out sniperoo

 

Tier 1

Hockeygear Puckolds defeat the former champion Dattco Moose 4-1 to win the coveted Tier 1 All Star Championship and recognition as the best team in the state.  Doug Caliendo scored a Hat trick including the game winner and first two goals of the game .  Scott Romano was outstanding in net and gets MVP honors.
